Well, not exactly building a stadium, but helping, at least! I was contacted by an electrical contractor about using my lift to set speakers along the roof edge in a new stadium being built as a spring training facility for the Diamondbacks and Rockies in Scottsdale, AZ. The alternative – building scaffolding – was going to be expensive and not as nice. I spent 3-1/2 weeks there with my lift moving it from place to place and observing the activity. It was certainly different than tree work, and I am glad I don’t do that kind of thing all the time!
While this was going on , I had a crew working on trees (that didn’t require the lift) and I spent time after work looking at jobs and directing their activities. It was a very busy time! Here are a couple more pictures of the lift in the stadium:

Hanging one of the big speakers (185lbs) - note the completed ones along the edge of the roof to the left!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately! I have a big backlog of things to share now. I was waiting until the new website was up and running, which it now is! How do you like it?
